The interview process

1. Apply

Whether you found us or we found you, it’s the right role at the right time, and your application is on its way. Exciting times!

2. Talent Acquisition

Get those questions ready. In this interview with our Talent Acquisition team, it's our chance to learn about each other and start answering the question “Could you be our new Hero?

3. Assessment

We’ll test your skills and look at how you approach a challenge (a coding problem, a product project strategy, or a creative marketing brief). This is not mandatory for every position.

4. Hiring Manager

Let’s go a little deeper. In this interview with a hiring manager, we will get to know you and understand how you’ll make the team even stronger.

5. Meet the team

Your potential future teammates will love to find out more about you, and we’re sure you’ll have questions for them too. Fire away!

6. Final Interview

And before you know it, you’re in the final round. Well done for making it this far! Who you speak with for this final interview will  depend on the role you are applying for.       If you are accepted for the position, we will be in touch with details about the next steps. 

Interview tips

Here are a few pointers to help you impress us even more and give us lots to chew on.

Grab your essentials and minimize distractions

Pen, pad, water, lucky charm… make sure you have everything you need. Avoid distractions like your phone or background music.

Do your prep

Read the job description (then re-read it!) and familiarize yourself with Delivery Hero as a business. Understand our values – they are at the center of everything we do.

Be you

We know you might be a little nervous, but try to relax and be yourself. Then we can get to learn more about you and why you want to join us.

Ask away


The interview is also an opportunity for you to get to know us better, so have your list of questions ready. Unlike napkins, you can never have too many questions.

Can’t answer everything?
That’s OK

We’re not looking for perfect. We encourage creative thinking and honest answers. If you don’t know something, say it. We’ll then ask follow-up questions.
