March was a month of celebration, empowerment, and growth at Delivery Hero, as we came together to honor Women’s Month with our annual event - Women Connect!

Engaging panel discussions

The event kicked off with a panel discussion, where senior leaders from all areas of the company gathered to discuss how we can accelerate the cause of women at Delivery Hero.

What made this panel so special was the intimate, friendly atmosphere that encouraged open and honest conversations. Marie-Anne Popp, CFO, Norma Delgado, Senior Director Payroll Transformation, Ben Mann, CTO, and Jaime Fernándes-Galiano, VP of International Markets, came together for more than just a talk.

Hosted expertly by Olena Bachynska, Director of Software Engineering - a safe space was created for employees to share their experiences, ask tough questions, and discuss how we can all help foster allyship, push for equity, and create an environment of belonging.

From navigating career advancements and promotions, to maternity leave and company policies, the panel covered a lot of topics. True to the spirit of Women Connect, audience members were encouraged to get involved, contributing their own insights and experiences.

Raise the Bar is not just a phrase at Delivery Hero, it is a mindset and everyone left the discussion eager to push boundaries and do more to ensure  gender equity and inclusion at Delivery Hero.

Bringing good vibes

Next up was an Empowerment & Sharing Community activity - this space was all about positivity, support, and reflection. One of the standout features was the Positivity Board, where employees were asked to  leave a note of encouragement or take one to spread good vibes to someone else. The idea was all about recognizing the power of each individual story and journey.

Lauren Dodson, Principal Recruiter hosted the event and expertly navigated the audience between activities - keeping everyone informed and engaged.

A powerful workshop with Loubna Messaoudi

To wrap up the day’s events ,Loubna Messaoudi, Founder and Executive Director of BIWOC* Rising talked about Intersectionality and Feminist Leadership. Her insights on navigating leadership through an intersectional feminist lens were  inspiring - she reminded attendees that leadership isn’t just about breaking glass ceilings—it’s about bringing others up with you, ensuring that diversity, inclusion, and belonging are woven into the fabric of leadership.

Loubna’s interactive workshop encouraged everyone to reflect on their own journeys and how they can make an impact by supporting others.

Raising the bar together

Women Connect was a day that lived up to its promise of fostering allyship and connection. Heroes left the event with a renewed sense of commitment to continue supporting each other and push for change. The good vibes were shared and the message was clear- we are heading in the right direction!
