As we dive into Women’s Month this March 2025, we’re not only celebrating women, we’re celebrating the amazing work of our Women at Delivery Hero Employee Resource Group (ERG.) 

This group is a major part in shaping a more equitable workplace by creating connections, amplifying voices, and championing gender equity across our organization.

The heart of Women at Delivery Hero is all about creating a platform for women to thrive, grow, and excel in their careers. We’re committed to empowering women with the tools and support they need to reach their full potential—whether through mentorship, inclusive training, or a celebration of diverse voices. Here’s just a few of the ways we make that happen:

• Mentorship: Delivery Hero offers tailored mentorship opportunities that help all employees navigate their career paths and unleash their full potential. The program was first created and piloted by the Women at Delivery Hero ERG and has since evolved, empowering all Heroes to navigate their career paths and unlock their full potential.
• Interactive Sessions: We offer engaging workshops that focus on up-skilling our members in areas of personal interest, such as personal branding, and provide information sessions on topics that are personally relevant, like egg freezing and fertility, while also addressing workplace barriers. 
• Tracking Progress: We represent the women’s community within the company and regularly meet with our C-level sponsor - Benjamin Mann, Chief Technology Officer, to assess management's progress on recruitment, promotions, and retention, ensuring we continue moving toward a more equitable future.

Every month, the Women at Delivery Hero group gathers to either brainstorm new initiatives, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, or host social events. Whether it’s a deep dive into a topic or a relaxed conversation, these events are all about creating opportunities for growth, connection, and support.

What’s Happening This Women’s Month?

This March, to mark Women’s Month, we’re celebrating the official 2025 International Women’s Day theme: #AccelerateAction. We’re rolling out a series of activities that highlight our commitment to gender equity and inclusion.

• International Women's Day Breakfast: Although IWD was on a Saturday this year, ERG members kicked off the celebration a day early by hosting a breakfast in the office on Friday - we’ve included some photos from the event in this article!
• Women Connect Event: A celebration of the incredible women at Delivery Hero, with inspiring talks, panels, and discussions.
• Empowerment & Sharing Community: A positivity board where participants share notes of encouragement or take one to give to someone else. Includes a creative space for making gifts, photos, or reflecting on life’s turning points and growth.
• Keynote Speaker: Loubna Messaoudi's Workshop on Intersectionality and Feminist Leadership
• Panel Discussion: Senior employees from around the company will get together to talk about accelerating the cause of women at Delivery Hero, fostering allyship and driving belongingness.

• Empowered Growth: Over 90% of our women at DHSE are levelling up with our learning platforms, and 40% are boosting their careers through coaching and mentoring!
