Delivery Hero is looking for a Strategy & Planning Manager, Europe (all genders) to work directly with our Regional CEO Europe. Delivery Hero Europe consists of 8 different country organizations and is led by a regional leadership team out of Berlin. Delivery Hero’s businesses in Europe are growing rapidly and occupy leading positions. 

About the Team:

The Strategy and Planning team supports the leadership team to define our strategy and works collaboratively with regional functions and local markets to identify growth opportunities. The Strategy & Planning will support the team by providing strategic and competitive insights in response to business needs and investment decisions.  It is a role that requires a combination of deep strategic expertise, curiosity, and grit with excellent judgment and discretion.

Your mission:

• Analyze key business questions with frameworks, customer insights, and data to craft concrete recommendations and unlock growth opportunities

• Synthesize large sets of data and insights to develop global perspectives on key business priorities and inform marketing strategy

• Lead the development and maintenance of regular reports and dashboards

• Connect global & local efforts by aligning local, regional and global visions and identifying findings from teams to advise growth strategies

• Build and support global processes around cyclical business planning, roadmaps, and OKR setting and prioritization

• Proactively identify and lead strategic initiatives with the cross functional teams  to optimize day-to-day marketing operations and improve business impact 

• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives working closely with regional & central marketing, performance marketing, finance, product, and operations teams

• Gain leadership alignment on recommendations and influence decisions to drive implementation

• Be a thought partner to leadership to support the growth of Foodora

Your Heroic skills:

• 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or management consulting 

• Advanced SQL/Google Sheets proficiency.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree ideally in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, etc.)

• Never hesitates to dive right in and address something hands-on, persevering and finding solutions.

• Biased toward action and a master disambiguate/simplifier, always pushing towards clarity and delivery.

• Demonstrates optimism, respects others and fosters teamwork.

• Can collaborate with leaders and team members at all levels in a global, matrixed organization.

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to clearly deliver information to a variety of audiences

• Highly-proactive, organized, self-starter capable of effectively managing several projects at the same time

• Ability to analyze large amounts of data, synthesize complex ideas, and extract the relevant information

Nice to have:

• MBA degree
