About the opportunity

We are looking for a Commercial Director to join our local Management Team and who will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, as well as ensuring the company's competitive position in the rapidly evolving food delivery industry.

Your mission

  • Lead the commercial team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. This includes devising sales tactics, establishing sales quotas, and monitoring performance metrics. You'll also be responsible for fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and setting clear objectives for the commercial team.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing campaigns that effectively promote the food delivery service.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams. This may involve negotiating partnerships with restaurants, exploring new markets, and developing innovative service offerings.

  • Oversee the commercial budget and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to support sales and marketing initiatives. Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Mentor team members, set performance expectations, and facilitate professional development opportunities.

  • Collaborate with other departments such as operations, technology, and customer service to ensure alignment and integration of commercial strategies with overall business objectives.


What you need to be successful

  • You have at least 7 years of experience in a comparable position and in a fast-paced work environment (preferably in the retail food sector, e-commerce, or business development).

  • You have at least 7 years of experience in building and leading teams and have already led cross-functional projects.

  • You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable plans.

  • You can think outside the box, finding innovative solutions, setting clear priorities, focusing on your team, and achieving excellent results.

  • Pressure inspires you, and you see every change as an opportunity.

  • Additionally, you have strong interpersonal and intercultural skills and can inspire and motivate diverse teams and interest groups.

  • You have excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English.
