About the opportunity

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic partnerships with Local Shop accounts. Your goal is to ensure healthy and sustainable growth for our partners, solve challenges collaboratively, and deliver exceptional service by working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach, with a background in the retail or FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Shop partners, including supermarkets and specialist stores, to drive mutual success.
  • Growth Strategy: Define and execute strategies to ensure sustainable and profitable growth for your accounts.
  • Problem Solving: Actively address and resolve partner challenges, providing effective and tailored solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver seamless partner support and optimize performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze account data, track KPIs, and use insights to drive improvements and meet growth targets.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the retail or supermarket industry to identify opportunities and create value for partners.
  • Hands-On Approach: Be actively involved in day-to-day management, addressing issues promptly and ensuring high service standards.

What you need to be successful

  • Experience: 2-4 years in account management, business development, or a similar role, ideally within the retail or FMCG sector.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to drive sustainable growth through strategic planning and execution.
  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Adept at analyzing challenges and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the retail or supermarket landscape, including trends and key players.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • You speak Hungarian & English fluently.
