About the opportunity

Role Summary

The Talabat Product team plays a central role in the growth of our company, with our empowered Product teams working to create meaningful solutions that address important user, vendor, and business opportunities.

We're a diverse, passionate, and driven team, and we're looking for a customer-centric, self-starting, and creative Senior Product Manager to drive Product efforts for our subscriptions service.

As the Senior Product Manager for the Subscriptions team, you’ll lead the Talabat Pro subscription program, shaping and executing strategies to maximise customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.

In this role, you'll identify opportunities to expand the adoption of our program by analyzing customer behaviors and market trends. You will enhance the user experience through data-driven insights and innovative feature development while also managing a cross-functional team to deliver a seamless, value-driven subscription experience.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the product roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment across teams, and championing a customer-first approach. By leveraging key performance metrics and collaborating with stakeholders, you will refine subscription offerings that anticipate and meet evolving customer needs.

As Senior Product Manager for Subscriptions, you will:

Be part of a crucial team, working to grow and enhance our high-impact subscription service

  • Work within a cross-functional team of Product, Engineering, and Data

  • Build strong relationships with your team to supercharge your impact

  • Be driven to understand this opportunity space in great detail - who the target customers are (user and vendor), differing local contexts, business value, risks, opportunities, technical challenges, etc

  • Lead the product discovery of your squad

  • Champion customer development and data analysis to find new opportunities and de-risk your bets

Work closely with the design and research teams to uncover opportunities and unmet user needs

  • Own the discovery process end-to-end and be the leading voice in your cross-functional teams

  • Rapidly ideate, prototype, and iterate on solutions

  • Enhance and roll out improvements to our subscription service

Lead the prioritization of opportunities and solutions based on their impact on squad KPIs

  • Measure the success of enhancements and invest in the continuous improvement of the product

  • Be a problem-solver who does not hesitate to get hands-on to unblock your team and deliver quality solutions quickly

  • Work with stakeholders to grow your knowledge and supercharge your product efforts

Work closely with other teams to ensure this subscription service is aligned with our end-to-end consumer experience and lifecycle.

  • Own stakeholder communications of the subscription service 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, commercial, marketing and strategy teams to design and launch go-to-market strategies


What you need to be successful

What did we order?

You’re an experienced Product Manager with at least 5 years of work experience in Digital Product Management (web or mobile).

  • You have successfully launched products to the market

  • Strong understanding of Agile product management and a solid grasp of the responsibilities of empowered product teams

  • Demonstrated fantastic verbal and written communication skills, easily engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Able to communicate fluently with engineers and actively participate in technical discussions

  • Thrive in cross-functional teams and excel in a collaborative environment

  • Experienced in finding and defining solutions based on research, data, and insights

  • Top-notch project management skills, with hands-on experience using tools like Jira

  • Genuine interest in building world-class subscription experiences

  • Enjoy breaking down complex problems into manageable iterations

  • Confident in analyzing data sets to generate insights

  • Reliant on user and stakeholder feedback, as well as understanding available data, to set personal objectives

  • Experience in Food Delivery or a related field is a strong plus

  • Experience in innovation and launching new products and business models to market is a very strong plus
