Job description

About the opportunity

We are on the lookout for a Principal, Performance Management to join the International Markets team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Be part of the team that shapes Delivery Hero’s strategy across our markets worldwide. In the International Markets Team, you’ll contribute to high-impact projects that drive value, support profitability, and unlock growth opportunities on a global scale. Working closely with regional and central leadership, your work will directly influence how we prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and execute strategies that keep us ahead.

As a Principal, Performance Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high output performance and input efficiency of DH’s core functions across entities. You'll be the primary owner of performance metrics, driving leadership visibility into trends, target achievement, and improvements, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across brands and markets. This is a highly analytical and collaborative position, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and can effectively use data to tell a compelling story to senior stakeholders. You'll work cross-functionally with Central, Regional, and International Markets teams to implement initiatives that improve and harmonize our operational performance across the portfolio.

  • Help design the performance management KPIs: Support in defining the metrics to monitor performance, how we can better track it, and how to raise and address issues.

  • Operational Performance Excellence: As the owner and monitor of key performance indicators (KPIs) for our Core functions, you will be instrumental in driving our operational performance to new heights.

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, root causes of performance issues, and opportunities for improvement. Translate your findings into clear, actionable recommendations for entities and, potentially, as transversal process improvement initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Your role will be to partner with entities to design the target state for core processes, implement these initiatives, and ensure they deliver the intended results and impact on output metrics, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and teamwork.

  • Reporting & Communication: Develop and present regular performance reports to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting key trends and the impact of your initiatives.

  • Strategic Initiatives: As a co-leader of strategic projects aimed at harmonizing the performance of our core functions across entities, you will have a significant influence on our strategic direction and performance.

What you need to be successful

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in an analytical or business intelligence role, preferably in e-commerce, logistics, or a high-growth tech environment. Experience in vendor or partner management is a strong plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and present insights clearly and concisely. Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and SQL is a must; knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: A proactive, can-do attitude with an aptitude for identifying problems and developing creative, data-driven solutions.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the project objective.
