Operations Supervisor

Our Wholesales team is currently seeking a Operations Supervisor to take on a range of responsibilities, including leading and guiding our Distribution staff.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily delivery of goods, creating and coordinating daily truck routing plans, and ensuring orders reach customers on time and accurately.

What you’ll do:

• Lead, inspire, and guide a dedicated team of distribution staff to achieve seamless, efficient, and accurate deliveries in a timely manner.
• Implementation of Commercial Agreement on the terms referred to in Distribution and Merchandising.
• Foster strong collaboration and alignment with other departments, such as Warehouse and our Sales team to ensure their commercial target are achieved.
• Create schedules and plans, monitor order loading times, check that routing is followed, set priorities, and monitor the progress of tasks.
• Oversee day-to-day distribution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Manage cash flows from operating activities.
• Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels for daily distribution and peak periods.
• Coordinate the inventory plan & monitor vehicle loading processes.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in leading distribution teams ideally within the FMCG sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a diverse team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management and ERP systems, MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
