Since the beginning of our sustainability journey in 2020, we have been rolling out the measurement of our carbon footprint in all our markets. These measurements gave us a clear picture of our environmental impact and helped us identify key steps for our sustainability efforts.

We want to help restaurants move beyond plastic to more sustainable solutions and that’s why we prioritize plant-based and compostable packaging. We have launched a global sustainable packaging program in which we provide packaging to restaurants to displace their plastic packaging.

One of the ways we give back at Delivery Hero is through our employees volunteering. 
Every October, we host Hero Month, which is is a month-long volunteering event for our employees to get involved in the community. 

Our Global Rider Program brings together all functions and business entities to tackle critical rider issues collaboratively. The program covers a variety of topics, including health and safety, enabling teams to ensure a compliant and effective work environment.
