About the opportunity

As an Inventory Controller at an ideal FMCG retail company, you will oversee inventory control across multiple dark stores, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing discrepancies,
and driving operational efficiency. Your role will be crucial in managing inventory systems, improving processes, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance overall supply chain performance.
What you will do:
- Monitor stock levels across all dark stores, conduct audits, and implement inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage
- Maintain accurate records, analyze inventory reports, and track key metrics like stock turnover and out-of-stock incidents
- Optimize inventory control processes, contribute to system enhancements, and drive efficiency improvements
- Approve and coordinate stock transfers between locations to balance inventory and meet demand
- Analyze product performance & manage assortment decisions
- Collaborate with category managers to ensure a profitable product mix
What you need to be successful
- 3-5 years in inventory management within FMCG retail
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software, Excel (Power Pivot), and Power BI, with high-level data analytical skills
- Solid understanding of commercial and supply chain dynamics, along with project management skills to drive inventory optimization
- Accuracy in monitoring stock levels, following up on discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data, work cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel between dark store locations as needed
