We are on the lookout for a Director, Investor Relations to join the Investor Relations team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

About the role: 

As our Director, Investor Relations, you'll be a core player in a high-performing team committed to delivering an exceptional IR experience. Reporting directly to the Head of Investor Relations, you will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with the global investment community, helping them gain a deep understanding of Delivery Hero’s business model, strategic direction, and equity story.

Your mission: Drive our Global Narrative

  • You will act as direct representative for Delivery Hero in all external communication with investors and analysts to elevate their understanding of our operating business, winning strategy, cutting-edge product & tech initiatives and financial results.

  • You will deepen and expand relationships with equity and debt investors, sell-side analysts, and stock exchange representatives globally and share the Delivery Hero equity story to the financial community. This includes traveling and participating in investor conferences around the globe. 

  • You will analyze research reports, investor commentary, and industry trends, and translate these external views into actionable, relevant insights for the IR team and our executive leadership. 

  • You will work cross-functionally to develop all high-stakes investor-facing materials including quarterly results, investor presentations, annual reports, speeches, and regulatory filings. 

  • You will take ownership of communications surrounding major company events. 

  • You will drive Delivery Hero’s investor engagement strategy by owning regular analysis of our shareholder base and executing focused investor targeting exercises.

  • You will partner closely with the Head of IR to continuously evolve and sharpen our equity story. You'll also be actively identifying and championing new ideas for the ongoing improvement of our IR strategy.

  • You will enjoy significant exposure to global senior management and collaborate closely with teams across the organization on internal and external communications.

  • You will contribute to the rigorous process of evaluating and approving product, business, and operational statistics to be shared externally.

 


What you need to be successful

  • You hold a strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • You bring at least 8 years of professional experience in investor relations, sell-side equity research, or investment banking.

  • You demonstrate exceptional business acumen, with advanced analytical capabilities, financial modeling expertise, and valuation know-how. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is a must.

  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial and business information into clear, concise messages.

  • You possess outstanding planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.

  • You have proven project management experience, including active involvement in preparing annual reports and organizing key events such as the Annual General Meeting or Capital Markets Day.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and consistently deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines, operating with autonomy and reliability.

  • You excel at managing multiple priorities simultaneously and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.

  • You have a solid understanding of capital markets and relevant regulatory frameworks.

  • You are skilled at building relationships and can quickly establish trust with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You are fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
