Associate, Delivery Hero Ventures (all genders)

We are on the lookout for an Associate (all genders) to join the Delivery Hero Ventures team in Berlin or Singapore on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

Founded in January 2021, Delivery Hero Ventures’ mission is to support the next generation of entrepreneurs who are disrupting some of the most dynamic industries across the world. In the last 3 years, our international team has built a portfolio of 28 early-stage companies across 5 continents and spanning multiple industries, including consumer internet, enterprise and SME software, and fintech. We seek to leverage Delivery Hero’s unique ecosystem and resources to benefit our founders and help them grow world-leading businesses. The team operates out of hubs in Berlin and Singapore.

• Support Delivery Hero's venture capital team on all aspects of deal sourcing, analysis and execution

• Actively identify, screen and analyse global VC investment areas and opportunities

• Speak with a diverse range of founders to identify businesses that could be attractive for investment

• Prepare investment proposals for the investment committee of Delivery Hero Ventures

• Prepare internal reports and conduct financial modelling and analysis to support the team's investment decisions

• Research new business models, identify emerging market and industry trends, and create a market mapping for various industries

• Support the team in the ongoing management of our portfolio companies

• 3-4+ years of work experience in a related field (e.g. venture capital, private equity, investment banking).

• At least 1 year prior venture capital experience is essential

• MBA or Masters degree in a relevant field preferred

• You are an analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and an active interest in venture capital and a strong commercial instinct

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) & interpersonal skills. You can build  relationships with internal & external stakeholders and represent Delivery Hero Ventures

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver on tight deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in an unstructured environment, as well as in a team

• Fluent in English, the ability to speak additional languages is a plus
