Technical Product Manager - Core Services Domain

Role summary:

The mission of the Product Engineering Enablement Tribe is to help reduce cognitive load and enable our Product Tribes to be successful, by focusing on our most significant constraints across the engineers’ journey at talabat.

To spearhead this mission, we’re looking for a passionate technical product manager who will lead the Core Services domain responsible for ensuring that complicated sub-systems can be easily consumed by multiple product engineering teams relying on those sub-systems and helping us expand the support that we provide as a Tribe to the business (Vendor Growth topics).

As a Technical Product Manager, alongside the Engineering Domain Lead, your primary role will be to co-drive the product direction for 2 teams, namely Order & Transmission Platform as well as Vendor Availability & Catalog Platform.

Responsibilities include:

• Craft and continuously refine the product vision, mission, and strategy alongside the team and key stakeholders, ensuring it aligns with our company’s goals
• Support the team in identifying, analyzing & addressing the largest points of friction in our standalone Order Platform and Vendor Availability domains
• Be co-accountable for the impact (value), roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of your teams
• Facilitate and enable successful adoption and integration of solutions delivered
• Define and track key success metrics of your products to track & improve their adoption
• Cultivate stakeholder relations (business stakeholders & other talabat tech teams)
• Effectively communicate across all organizational levels to facilitate alignment on the overall product direction.

The following experience is relevant to us:

• 2+ years of platform product management experience
• 2-3 years of software engineering experience and great understanding of the full SDLC with demonstrated experience understanding the challenges of engineering & designing solutions that solve their actual problems
• Great at analyzing frictions & selecting small-batch opportunities that delivered the desired impact (balancing discovery & implementation)
• Experienced in applying a data-informed approach to decision-making
• Comfortable operating within multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment (shortening feedback loops)
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity
• Systems Thinker
• Humble, curious, and open-minded with a growth mindset
