Sr. Analyst Logistics Operations

Role Summary
The Regional Logistics Team supports all eight MENA countries which talabat operate in to deliver excellent customer experience while operating efficiently. “Sr. Analyst Logistics Operations” plays an essential role in the regional logistics team of the company. He/she will work with all talabat countries to ensure the supply efficiency and service levels by analysing operations, improving logistics infrastructure, solving analytical problems and executing solutions. Improving automation and the effective implementation and use of Delivery Hero technology and tools is key to improving efficiency in each market.

What’s on Your Plate?
● Diving into complex analysis of systems and tools, solving analytical problems and executing solutions with different markets, diving into complex data points to find the areas of development

● Running experiments on complex systems such as dispatching logic and order flows , to identify the best balance between user experience and logistics efficiency

● Ensuring the effective use and rollout of all Delivery Hero technology, tools and data models across 8 countries. Providing data driven decision on the product roadmap to further enhance efficiency and speed
● Liaise with internal stakeholders such as country teams, central product operations and data science teams to improve the effectiveness of our processes and tools
● Improve reporting and data visibility for faster and more effective decision making for all markets, keeping up with the dynamic and fast nature of talabat operations to always provide the best solutions

Reporting structure
● Reports to: Sr. Manager, Logistics Optimization
● Key stakeholders: Regional Logistics, Local Logistics, Delivery Hero Product Ops, Talabat Product

● Bachelor’s degree. STEM and Economics backgrounds are highly preferred
● 2-5 years of experience in tech start-ups or operational roles are highly preferred
● Analytical and problem-solving skills, data driven and results oriented attitude is required
● Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to drive complex ideas and process to diverse people across very markets and teams
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Slides.
● SQL skills are required
● Tableau, or any similar reporting tools skills is required
