Software Engineer (Golang) - AdTech, Display Ads (all genders)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Golang) (all genders) to join our AdTech tribe. Contribute to the creation of our next-generation platform, that helps our partners - such as restaurants but also local shops - to scale their business. Work on our internal AdTech platform that helps our partners promote their best dishes and attract new clients. About AdTech Tribe

The AdTech tribe is a rapidly expanding, geographically dispersed tribe, the business operating in 40+ international markets from LATAM to APAC. Our prime objective? Crafting cutting-edge advertising solutions tailored for the local delivery market. Our globally implemented solutions not only enable our partners to captivate and retain clients but also let our platform users discover new culinary delights and favorite meals. About the AdTech Display Ads Team

You will be part of a team owning a critical piece of the AdTech ecosystem, supporting and expanding our central solution for serving advertisement solutions across all Delivery Hero’s brands. This solution operates under a high load of requests, which must be promptly processed with minimal latency and delivered to our client-facing applications. Key aspects are also scalability, observability and recovery strategies.

Your Mission:

• You will work on solutions that help restaurants and local shops to advertise their offers and attract new and retain existing clients

• You will architect and implement efficient and reusable backend services that drive complex web applications

• You will improve the user experience and performance of existing solutions

• You will collaborate with other squads in the AdTech tribe to build a future-proof platform

Your Heroic Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in Software development and + 2 years of experience in Golang.

• Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods and best practices

• Experience in designing and optimizing scalable systems

• Expert knowledge of Golang

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Good communication skills and fluent English

• Strong focus on code quality and testing

Nice to have skills:

• Hands with some cloud provider (best GCP) as well as with Terraform and Helm

• Experience with Redis or Elasticsearch

• Experience with setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TravisCI, Drone, Spinnaker)

• Familiar with common logging, monitoring, alerting tools such as Datadog, Grafana, NewRelic, Prometheus, Icinga, Kibana, etc.

• You do not shy away from understanding domain business  logic and contribute to it
