Senior Salesforce Engineer - Quick Commerce

We're hiring an Senior Salesforce Developer to join the Quick Commerce Global Services team in Barcelona, to support the Delivery Hero Group's ecosystem. 

Your Mission

In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to combine Glovo's vibrant, fast-paced culture with the reach and complexity of the Delivery Hero Group, one of the world's largest local delivery platforms. You'll be part of a Central Team based in Barcelona, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions that support the entire global ecosystem of the Group.

• You will work on our next-generation platform to not only provide groceries for our hungry customers but also other daily urgent needs like drinks, fruits, snacks but also batteries. 

• You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineering leaders, and leadership across Q-Commerce.

• You will be part of  a cross-functional  team focused on the onboarding and early stages of our vendors. 

• Troubleshoot issues, Identify complex problems and analyze potential solutions including workarounds as well as provide timely fixes.

• You will work in a goal-driven environment.

• +4  years work experience in developing high quality, reusable and maintainable code using Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Apex Triggers and integrating force.com systems with third party systems for enterprises using SOAP, RESTFUL Services.

• Knowledge about Security models and techniques within the salesforce.com environment.ng as a Salesforce Engineer.

• Experience in working agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

• Understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods, and best practices.

• You are a pragmatic engineer  who understands what is needed to get things done in a collaborative manner.

• You believe in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment.

• Experience in Database modeling, JSON, XML, HTML, JavaScript

• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience of working in fast-paced environments handling multiple, competing priorities.

• Experience in infrastructure and devops.

• Experience with web applications
