Job description
Our Pick-up team focuses on all matters related to one of foodpanda's newest verticals, Pick-up. This includes acquiring and onboarding vendors, planning strategies and benefits for this vertical, and addressing any product or ad hoc issues. You will report to the Commercial Senior Leadership and lead the growth of foodpanda’s Pick-up service.
Pick-up Operations & Campaigns
- Oversee pick-up service operations, including the maintenance and troubleshooting of deals.
- Ensure smooth operations and effective issue resolution.
- Review commission packages and prepare pitch materials and case studies to support business development.
- Support and monitor pick-up campaigns, including budget allocation and tracking.
- Manage deal setup and execution, ensuring budget utilization aligns with financial objectives.
Pandapro Operations & Management
- Maintain Pro pitch materials and lead lists to ensure that all information is current and relevant for business development efforts.
- Distribute pro vouchers to vendors to facilitate promotional activities and strengthen partnerships.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to align strategies and enhance the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.
Strategy & Analysis:
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to inform strategy and enhance market awareness.
- Monitor KPIs and build/manage project dashboards to evolve and define the vision and strategy.
- Implement risk management practices to minimize project red flags.
- Plan, budget, oversee and document and communicate all aspects of the project
- Work closely with upper management and other key stakeholders to make sure that the scope and direction of the project is on schedule
- Closely manage and drive projects, road maps, milestones, timelines and achievements
- Monitor KPIs, building and managing project dashboards to help evolve and define vision and strategy
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize the progress of projects
- Perform risk management to minimize project red flags
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion
- Bachelor's Degree in either Business Management and Administration, Economics, Mathematics, and Management or equivalent
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience working in project management, and business strategy development; prior experience in eCommerce , start-up and local market experience would be a plus
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build things from scratch
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders to get things done and confident in maintaining data-backed hypotheses when challenged
- Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple work streams in parallel, plan for projects, manage own time and priorities
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau) or programming languages (e.g. SQL) is a plus but not necessary
- Exhibits the competencies: Drive for results, action-oriented, problem solving, strategy and analytical thinking
- Proficiency with MS Office and G-suite
- Extreme attention and orientation to details
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong commercial mindset with a good understanding of key growth levers, high energy with sound business acumen
