We are looking for an analytical Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Department.
You will need to have a solid operational and technical accounting background and work proactively to drive results. Our main mission is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, provide solutions for tax-oriented issues and contribute ideas for improvement in both daily procedures and in long-term goals too.
What you’ll do:
Contribute to the daily operations of the accounting department.
Ensure Tax Law compliance, i.e. VAT, WHT, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing.
Tax file completion
Preparation of all Tax register changes, (KAD, New establishments, etc)
Participate in MyData platform compliance
Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
Review and recommend amendments to current internal procedures.
Provide advice and assistance on Greek Accounting Standards.
Identify and mitigate possible tax risks.
Manage and coordinate tax audits, support statutory audits.
What you need to be successful
BA in Accounting/Economics or similar field
At least 3 years of professional experience preferably in accounting & tax advisory or compliance services. Big 4 experience will be considered an asset.
MyData knowledge
Completion or final stage participation in a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA) will be considered a plus.
Computer literacy with Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent communicational and organizational skills
Flexibility and ability to solve problems
Good sense of responsibility and commitment to confidentiality
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking, innovation and dedication
