About the opportunity

  • Lead generation: Identifying and researching potential leads through various sources such as databases, online research, referrals, etc.
  • Daily outbound sales calls: Initiating proactive outbound calls to potential customers to introduce, promote, and set up meetings with Key Decision Makers for the Business Development Team to sell the company's products. 

  • Product knowledge: Becoming well-versed in the features, benefits, and unique selling points of the company's products to effectively communicate their value to customers.

  • Building relationships: Establishing rapport and building positive relationships with gatekeepers and customers to understand their needs, preferences, and buying behaviors to effectively set up meetings.

  • Achieving sales targets: Meeting or exceeding individual sales targets set by the company, demonstrating consistent sales performance.

  • CRM management: Recording and maintaining accurate customer data, sales activities, and interactions in a CRM system to track progress and facilitate follow-ups.

  • Market research: Staying updated on industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and provide market insights to the team.

  • Sales reporting: Generating regular sales reports, analyzing sales data, and providing insights and recommendations to the management team.

  • Collaboration: Collaborating with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches.

  • Continuous learning: Actively participating in product training sessions, staying updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry developments.

  • Sales process improvement: Contributing to the improvement of sales processes, strategies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Compliance: Adhering to sales policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including data protection regulations and ethical sales practices.

 


What you need to be successful

  • This role focuses on Singapore & Mayalysia markets  

  • Sales experience: Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales role. This includes a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Product knowledge: Familiarity with the company's products and the ability to quickly learn and understand their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Product knowledge is crucial for effective phone pitches and addressing customer inquiries. Familiarity with the F&B industry is an added advantage. 

  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for engaging potential customers over the phone, delivering persuasive sales pitches, and effectively addressing objections. Clear and concise communication is key to building rapport and closing for a meeting. Proficient in English and Mandarin preferred. 

  • Persuasive skills: The ability to influence and persuade customers to make a purchase is vital. A Telesales Executive should possess strong persuasion and negotiation skills to handle objections and close for a meeting successfully.

  • Customer service orientation: A customer-centric approach is important to provide exceptional service and build long-term relationships. Being attentive to customer needs, demonstrating empathy, and delivering personalized solutions are crucial for customer satisfaction and repeat sales.

  • Results-oriented: A driven and goal-oriented mindset is necessary to meet or exceed sales targets consistently. A Telesales Executive must be motivated by achieving sales goals and be resilient in the face of rejection or challenging sales situations.

  • CRM and computer skills: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other sales tools is required. Knowledge of computer systems, data entry, and basic software applications is important for managing customer information, tracking sales activities, and generating reports.

  • Adaptability and learning mindset: The ability to adapt to changing sales strategies, market dynamics, and product updates is crucial. Being open to continuous learning, feedback, and improvement in sales techniques and product knowledge is highly valued.

  • Teamwork and collaboration: Effective collaboration with colleagues, sales managers, and other departments is important for shared success. A Telesales Executive should be able to work well within a team, share insights, and contribute to the overall sales and business objectives.

  • Professionalism and integrity: Demonstrating professionalism, ethical conduct, and integrity in sales interactions is essential. Adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and maintaining customer confidentiality are key requirements.
