Product Manager - Recommendations

We are on the lookout for a Product Manager, Recommendations to join our product team at Pandora, which shapes the future of our thriving brands in Southeast Asia and Europe: Foodpanda, Foodora, and Yemeksepeti. In this position, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and development of our recommendation product and other data science-powered features within Pandora. You will have the chance to leverage machine learning to enhance user experiences and platform outcomes.

You will collaborate with talented data scientists, engineers, UX researchers, analysts, and designers to achieve goals and drive impactful results.

• Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to address challenges in browsing and recommendation through data-informed strategies.

• Define, prioritize, and oversee a backlog of data-centric requirements that support overarching business goals.

• Work alongside data scientists and machine learning engineers to design optimal solutions that meet product requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with user needs.

• Cooperate with cross-functional teams to smoothly execute and deliver joint product solutions.

• Partner with product analysts to validate product hypotheses through A/B testing and exploratory data analyses, using insights to refine product direction.

• Create and maintain comprehensive but accessible technical documentation on the product.

• 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably in AI/ML, as well as in the e-commerce or food delivery industry.

• Experience in setting up the right hypotheses for your products, validating them with rigorous A/B testing frameworks.

• Experience working with big data / machine learning technologies, and are comfortable with collaborating with data scientists on how and when to apply these capabilities to solve specific product problems.

• Written and verbal communication skills, distilling complex technical information into clear messages tailored for diverse audiences.

• Experience in interpreting and analyzing complex datasets, and are adept at deriving actionable insights from data.
