We are seeking a skilled and motivated VoIP Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Asterisk-based VoIP systems, with hands-on experience in Linux environments and a good understanding of supporting services such as Apache, MySQL, and Docker. This role is ideal for an engineer with 2-4 years of experience looking to grow in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Asterisk-based VoIP solutions, including Elastix and Issabel.
Monitor and maintain Linux servers (preferably Red Hat, Rocky Linux, and CentOS) in production environments.
Ensure high availability and performance of supporting services like Apache, MySQL, and Docker containers.
Good understanding of monitoring systems (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.) and best practices for system observability.
Participate in deployment and management of services using Terraform and AWS (if applicable).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate VoIP systems with CRM platforms when needed.
Document configurations, procedures, and best practices to support operational excellence.
What you need to be successful
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Experience working with Linux systems, preferably Red Hat, Rocky Linux, or CentOS.
In-depth knowledge of Apache, MySQL, and Docker in production environments.
Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting Asterisk, Elastix, and Issabel systems.
Ability to work independently and solve complex VoIP-related issues.
Hands-on experience or strong understanding of AWS Cloud services and Terraform.
Exposure to or experience with CRM system integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
Familiarity with SIP protocols, NAT traversal, and network troubleshooting tools.
