Delivery Hero is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Vendor Management to join our commercial team in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies aimed at expanding our market presence across the region. As the Regional Vendor Management leader, you will have a regional team supporting you, and work closely with cross-functional teams as well as guiding 8 countries in Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

Partners Performance: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve brand and partner performance, using data-driven insights and analysis to optimise revenue growth and customer engagement.

Build and maintain relationships with key partners, collaborating closely to ensure mutual success and identify opportunities for new partnerships.

Vendor Operations: Oversee vendor management processes and procedures, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and contract negotiation, to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Develop and implement best practices for vendor management, including vendor performance metrics and reporting, to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.

Portfolio Optimisation: Identify opportunities to optimise the product portfolio, including new product development and rationalisation of existing products, to drive growth and profitability.

Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and use insights to inform product development and portfolio management strategies.

Vendor Communications: Manage vendor communications, including regular check-ins, updates on performance metrics, and escalation of issues as needed, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with vendor goals.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, serving as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.


Your Heroic skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in account/partner management with proven leadership experience or track record in a technology/food delivery/E-commerce or FMCG industry

  • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in one or more European languages a plus 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data, and use insights to drive business decisions.

  • Experience in business management/performance; account management, portfolio optimization, product development, or related fields preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
