Do you have the ability to, on a strategic level, develop and lead a Sales Team to success? As our new Head of Sales you will not only spend your days leading amazing colleagues, you will also strategically set growth plans, business reviews and overall develop the business with our sales managers. You will build long-lasting relationships and work closely with the management and the partners in the establishment of departmental strategies, goals, and targets. WHAT YOU WILL (BUT NOT ONLY) DO
Drive sales strategy and related projects: develop the overall strategy for sales, performance forecast and target achievement;
Collaborate with regional and internal teams to launch and execute new sales activities/policies/processes/product launches to sustain continuous pipeline of prospects and flow of sales
Manage the department: guide and motivate the team to attain and exceed monthly and quarterly individual and team sales targets, manage team KPI schemes, identify targeted growth areas for direct reports and provide guidance for improvement
Lead by example: step in when and where needed to pitch, negotiate, and ultimately close deals for the team with a high level of expertise, professionalism and service
Maintain internal operational excellence: direct the team to ensure portfolio compliance with business operational standards, optimize and streamline workflow when necessary
The ideal candidate will be able to train the team with practical sales knowledge, and be agile and flexible to cater to the ever-changing market needs
5-10 years’ experience in sales-related field
Prior eCommerce, technology, or F&B experience is highly valued
Proven leadership ability to motivate and execute within an aggressive sales quota environment to meet both short- and long-term business objectives
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both external vendors and internal (regional/global/local) stakeholders across departments
Track record of solid data analysis, understanding sales numbers and monitoring & reporting daily metrics
Experience of Salesforce, PPT and Excel
Ability to work in a matrix organisation and international working environment.
