YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, we are looking for a passionate, strategic Finance Insights Manager to join our Finance Performance department at our Barcelona headquarters. You will own how Glovo reports and surfaces its financials internally, leading the team that keeps our internal and external reporting package accurate, timely and trusted. Beyond reporting, you will be the guardian of a single source of truth for our core financial metrics, translating a fast-evolving, complex business into definitions and numbers that every stakeholder can rely on — and you'll go beyond the numbers, deep-diving into the data to surface insights that shape real business decisions. You will also act as product owner for Finance's analytical stack, prioritizing and coordinating with our technology teams — from Anaplan to AI-powered analytics agents — to keep it evolving, while driving the automation and AI agenda across the department. All this while leading and growing a team of three. 

THE JOURNEY 

• Own the full internal reporting package end-to-end, guaranteeing accuracy, transparency and adherence to strict closing timelines.

• Define and safeguard the consistency of Glovo's core financial metrics (e.g. GMV, Contribution Margin), ensuring they mean the same thing everywhere they're reported.

• Serve as the key enabler for the full finance function, ensuring FP&A, Controlling, Accounting and Local teams can run their standard processes on a reliable single source of truth.

• Act as product manager for Finance's analytical stack — translating business needs into clear requirements and priorities for our technology teams, and partnering with fintech engineering only when a change requires deeper technical intervention.

• Go beyond reporting the numbers: deep-dive into the data to identify opportunities and turn them into actionable recommendations for the business.

• Drive the automation and AI roadmap across Finance Insights and the wider Finance Performance team, championing tools like conversational analytics agents to make the department a benchmark for automated, scalable reporting.

• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that demands precision, fosters proactive cross-functional collaboration, and rewards ownership and teamwork.

• Lead, coach and grow a team of three analysts.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• 6+ years of professional experience in a Finance role, with 3+ years directly managing and developing a team. 

• Proven experience owning a reporting or financial-insights function end-to-end — defining what core metrics mean (e.g. GMV, Contribution Margin) and ensuring that definition holds consistently across every reporting touchpoint, not only executing analysis.

• Expert-level financial modeling and consolidation architecture: able to design and maintain the logic that rolls up P&L, GMV and Contribution Margin across countries and legal entities with different accounting treatments, and to design allocation logic for shared costs, commissions and edge cases so Local Finance and HQ FP&A never reconcile two different numbers for the same thing. 

• Unit economics modeling: builds per-order or per-vertical contribution margin models that roll up coherently into the company-level P&L, used to support pricing or product decisions. 

• Deep understanding of corporate accounting principles.

• Product-management mindset for the finance analytical stack: able to translate business needs into clear requirements and priorities for the technology teams evolving that stack (e.g. Anaplan, AI-powered analytics agents), and coordinate execution end-to-end.

• Strong analytical instinct: comfortable moving beyond reporting the numbers to deep-diving into the data and surfacing actionable business recommendations.

• Working fluency across major ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and consolidation tools (Anaplan, OneStream), and comfort with SQL / Looker / Tableau — enough to direct technical conversations and diagnose issues before escalating, rather than day-to-day hands-on administration.

• Familiarity with conversational analytics and AI-assisted development (e.g. using AI tools for "vibe coding" and building/iterating on data products), with the ability to drive adoption of these tools across the team.

• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and challenge discussions across finance, non-finance and data stakeholders, including senior leadership.

• A proactive mindset and a proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
