Engineering Manager - Platform (all genders)

We are looking for an Engineering Manager - Platform (all genders) to join the Platform Authorization & Auditing team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

• Lead and empower a talented team of engineers.

• Develop and continuously improve stability and scalability of our services.

• Take part in architectural decision making on a platform that is used by millions of people.

• Work closely with other teams, communicate solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders and solve challenges.

• Ensure operation and technical excellence in the team.

• Practice modern software development methodologies and collaborate with product managers.

• We embrace Design Driven Development, SOLID Principles, Hexagonal and Event-driven Architecture, Algorithms and automated tests (unit, integration and functional).

• Hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.

• Make it a priority to nurture your team - ensuring their engagement remains high by challenging them with ambitious objectives and providing honest feedback to foster their growth.

• Excellent knowledge and previous hands-on programming experience in developing Backend Application

• Experience in designing and implementing large scale software systems.

• Curiosity, creative outside-the-box problem solving abilities and an eye for detail.

• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and talk to stakeholders.

Nice to have: 

• Experience in the AAA domain (Authentication/Authorization and Accounting)

• Experience with building and leading cross functional teams.

• Experience in building, maintaining, and running a high traffic system in a microservice environment with kubernetes.

• Experience with various AWS services such as RDS, DDB, Lambda, CW, EC2, SQS, SNS.
