Engineer II, Kotlin (Fintech Financial Services)

We are looking for Engineer II, Kotlin (Fintech Financial Services) to join our Fintech team and build worldwide innovative Wallet, Payment, and Anti-Fraud solutions with us. • You’ll develop products that empower millions of customers and merchants, from seamless payments to innovative financial solutions like wallets and credit. 

• You will help define software architecture, communicating effectively with engineers, product managers, partners, leaders, and a broad set of stakeholders.

• Implement and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems.

• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, including translating product requirements into technical designs, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust observability.

• You are eager to learn and master new technologies, contribute to the team's growth, and collaborate effectively to deliver best-in-class solutions

• Proven experience working with Kotlin/Java and distributed systems in large-scale applications, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Proficiency in building and maintaining REST APIs, microservices, and gRPC services.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including deployment and environment management.

• Practical experience with design patterns, design principles, software architecture, algorithms and automated tests (unit, integration and functional).

• Expertise in designing and managing SQL databases with focus on scalability, and performance. Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the FinTech, Banking or Payment industry is a plus.
