Category Executive

• End-to-end management of red meat, poultry, processed meat, and fish categories.
• Managing supplier selection processes, contract negotiations, and price agreements.
• Developing competitive purchasing strategies through continuous market monitoring and price analysis.
• Optimizing stock management, demand planning, and waste (shrinkage) control processes.
• Ensuring all products meet food safety and quality standards.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in purchasing or category management within the relevant food categories.
• Deep expertise in fresh and frozen food products.
• Strong background in supplier management and advanced negotiation techniques.
• Data-driven approach with high analytical thinking capabilities.
• Proficient in food safety regulations and cold chain logistics/processes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• A robust network of suppliers within the meat and fish market.
• Previous experience in the retail sector is a must.
• Experience in Private Label (PL) product development is a plus.
