About the opportunity
Role Summary
We’re looking for a Associate Quality Assurance to join the team and focus on Inspecting Fresh Produce in our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!
What’s On Your Plate?
● Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the Fresh Produce Products
● Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing
functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
● Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform accurate measurements.
● Analyze test results and inspection data to identify any deviations or non-conformities.
● Report inspection findings to address quality issues and corrective actions.
● Follow established quality assurance procedures and protocols.
● Build and maintain secure relationships with store employees and managers.
What you need to be successful
What Did We Order?
● Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role in Fresh Produce Industry (Retail or Distribution)
● Knowledge of Produce quality inspection techniques and procedures.
● Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
● Understanding of QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) principles.
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections.
● Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
● Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
● Make appropriate decisions, work independently, and communicate clearly and effectively.
● Fluent in English and Arabic
