On this journey, you will report to “Assistant Manager, Category”,
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Defining the products in categories based on local market needs and identifying suppliers and establishing the relationship, negotiating terms & conditions, ordering and reordering processes.
- Ensure the right speed-to-market of offers and solutions to stay competitive
- Seize new opportunities with a clear view on how to get there.
- Keep in touch with external trends and benchmarks and able to translate it into future plans
- Competitors analysis
- Is familiar with strategies, strengths and opportunities of our business and of main competitors.
- Inventory managements Imports polices & procedures , nonfood items, packaging & Quality attributes
What you need to be successful
Your role in this journey requires the following:
- A graduation degree from a reputable institution
- 2-4 years years or more experience in analytical roles involving excel, SQL or Tableau.
- Comfortable using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Google Data Studio)
- Proficient in predictive modeling and forecasting via Excel or other tools
- Highly organized and self-disciplined, able to work on multiple projects in a self-structured and well-prioritized way
- Extremely analytical, data-driven & with a keen eye on process improvement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude is the cornerstone of your personality
- You must be adept at G-Suite
