As a Specialist 3PL Performance & Finance at Talabat, you will oversee the management of financial and performance data of our third-party logistics (3PL) partners and support in the efficient execution of special projects. This role combines responsibilities related to data management and project management aimed to streamline processes and enhance the 3PL value proposition.
What’s On Your Plate?
Create and maintain accurate monthly timesheets for all 3PLs based on their corresponding payment rules
Ensure timely submission and approval of timesheets to facilitate payroll processing.
Establish and maintain systems for tracking metrics and KPIs related to 3PL compliance and operations.
Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and present insights to management.
Manage all manual trackers used to monitor KPIs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data input and reporting.
Develop and maintain 3PL scorecards and payment rules for various operational activities.
Implement and update scoring criteria and payment algorithms to align with business objectives.
Analyze performance data to optimize payment structures and incentivize desired behaviors.
Oversee box management processes, including tracking, collection, and distribution of assets.
Maintain accurate records of box inventory and usage, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
Coordinate with operational teams to ensure efficient utilization and maintenance of boxes.
Manage the process of obtaining refunds for unused or expired advertising permits.
Liaise with relevant authorities or vendors to process refund requests in a timely manner.
Maintain records of ad permit expenses and refunds for financial reporting purposes.
Support procurement-related projects, such as sourcing windshields, name tags, and other operational supplies.
Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures throughout the procurement process.
Maintain Google Drive repository for all 3PL-related documents, including trade licenses, insurance policies, salary proofs, and disciplinary action proofs.
Ensure document compliance and accessibility for internal stakeholders.

Essential
4 years of experience in data management, project management and/or finance is a must
A bachelor's degree in a field related to data, finance, engineering or analysis.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Speaking fluent English is a must.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
High Proficiency in Google Suite (mainly Google Sheets) is a must.
Ability to communicate complex problems and recommend solutions
Resilient mindset that views challenges as potential win-win situations looking to be discovered
Excellent data management, written and verbal communication skills
Team player who thrives on comradery
Strong commitment to enforcing standards, ethics and compliance
