Staff, Data Scientist - Global People Analytics

We are on the lookout for a Staff, Data Scientist - (People) to join the People Analytics team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Global People Analytics’ products enable Delivery Hero leaders to make deeper data-driven decisions, enhance heroes’ experience, improve business performance, and create value for our customers.  

• Own the analysis cycle, from gathering the business requirements, framing the question, building hypotheses, running the analysis, presenting insights and recommending meaningful actions to senior stakeholders
• Translate everyday business problems into hypothesis / research questions which can be measured
• Lead analytical projects as required in support of the overall People Analytics and P&C team goals and objectives
• Ability to understand business needs, align data science efforts to companies OKRs
• Select appropriate methodologies / techniques to analyse data and extract insight for key stakeholders in an efficient and secure way
• Play a critical role to up-skill the analytics capabilities of P&C at scale and ensure that all Heroes are able to avoid common stats pitfalls and can correctly interpret People data from our self-serve dashboards and people data platforms

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science or other technical fields
• Proven experience in the use of data and analytical tools (such as Python, R) to develop models and algorithms
• You are the role model on ML and statistics across several squads and the go-to person for all technical questions. You stay up to date with technology trends in your area and use this knowledge to contribute thoughts on your domain’s strategy, knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• You are the technical leader for ML projects in your domain and own their model and architecture design.
• Great storyteller and can clearly present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are an expert in identifying patterns in people and business data, highlight opportunities and are expert in visualizing data in an engaging way
• Self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously
