Specialist, Transformation & Automation (APAC)

Finance Transformation & Automation Team seeking a highly motivated Specialist to help lead and execute key initiatives for Finance, reporting to the Transformation & Automation Manager. 

Responsibilities:

• Identify and advise potential areas of automation, providing insights from a technical perspective 
• Ideate automation steps and workflows in establishing the proposed process
• Build automation workflows, perform unit testing and driving user acceptance testing, ensuring quality outputs 
• Co-drive the planning, executive and monitoring of automation projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project timelines 
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Central Automation teams, Local Finance teams and other departments to obtain buy in and define prioritization, project objectives, scope, deliverables and success criteria
• Identify risks or blockers and escalate in a timely manner with proposed alternatives, in ensuring successful project execution 
• Conduct hypercare to assess implementation and resolve critical issues in a timely manner
• Support the exploration into new systems, technologies and assess applicability to teams/ processes
• Ensure proper documentation of projects rolled out 

Basic Qualifications:

• University degree in Science (Information Systems), Engineering, Finance or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience from a technology company or consulting firm
• Proven track record of successfully delivering end to end automation projects (i.e. requirement gathering to build, test and rollout) 
• Prior experience on Process Design Documentation (PDD) creation to capture functional requirements
• Intermediate to advanced skills in JavaScript to develop reports and dashboards
• Proficient with Google Suite and/or Microsoft applications for analysis and reporting 
• Willing to learn and deep dive into new technologies e.g. OCR, ChatGPT, Machine Learning, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate well with people from different departments and countries

Preferred Qualifications / Experiences:

• Experience in UiPath or other RPA tools is advantageous
• Certifications on UiPath or Lean Six Sigma preferred
• Experience in Data Visualization using tools such as Google Data Studio/Looker & Tableau is preferred
• Programming languages such as SQL/Python/R are a plus 
• Experience working with complex data-warehouse infrastructure & large datasets is a plus 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
