Specialist, O2C Service Delivery-Platform

Job Description Summary

Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules | Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.

• Perform daily checks and close financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and group policies for all financial transactions.
• Establish cut-offs and monitor efficiency in transaction closures.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are regularly updated.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve Ariba R2R issues.
• Reconcile, reclassify, and report prepayments for services, updating the prepayment schedule monthly.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the controller.

What do you bring to the table?

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.
• Effective communication skills, particularly with senior-level stakeholders
• Proficiency in financial reporting and data mining tools such as SAP, ERP, etc.
