About the opportunity
We are seeking an iOS Intern to join us in scaling our platform, to digitalise businesses in Asia, uplift rider livelihoods and build a hyper-convenient platform for our customers. Responsibilities
- Gain exposure by working in a cross-functional product team to create solutions and apps focused on our different customers’ needs, across global and APAC markets.
- The opportunity to learn about cutting-edge programming practices using Swift.
- Hands-on experience working with VIPER architecture.
- Understanding & implementing SOLID principles.
- Write clean, testable, scalable and maintainable code that complies with foodpanda’s standards and best practices.
- Experience working on foodpanda's world-class technology platform and learning the day-to-day activities that power it.
- First-hand experience in building and operating high-scale services that serve millions of users.
What you need to be successful
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any related technical fields.
- Prior internships within related product, e-commerce or technology companies would be advantageous.
- Highlight any interesting side projects or products that you have worked on and built in the past - this would give us an idea of what you are passionate about.
- Good knowledge of Design Patterns, Design Principles, Software Architecture and Testing Methodologies (Unit, Integration and Functional).
- Passionate about software development, problem-solving and technical challenges.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
