We are on the lookout for Senior Software Engineer(Golang) - Developer Platform (all genders) to join our Site Reliability Engineering team on our journey to  to always deliver amazing experiences.

Short description of the team & position:

Our team  build and maintain cutting-edge resilient engineering platforms that empower our engineering teams to build reliable systems. 

• Develop and own multiple features and components for SRE products, exerting a significant influence on decisions within the site reliability engineering team. 

• Assume ownership of complex projects and architectural decisions, often serving as the sole or co-owner, guiding the team towards scalable and maintainable solutions. 

• Embrace a constant drive to learn and improve, taking the lead in implementing enhancements and introducing new technologies when required.

• Proactively identify and address non-optimal setups through architectural and communication means, elevating the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the team.

• Coach and mentor less experienced team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization.

• Demonstrate mastery in Golang, with a minimum of 5 years of experience building distributed, cloud-native microservices.

• Possess a solid understanding of scalable distributed systems and event-driven architecture, with a track record of making appropriate architectural trade-offs.

• Showcase expertise in working with both relational databases and NoSQL solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB), ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

• Drive engineering best practices by promoting observability, maintainability, scalability, and code quality across the team.

• Take ownership of architectural decisions for the features you develop, making informed trade-offs and promoting consensus-building within the team.

• Navigate complex, ambiguous problem areas with a focus on understanding the business impact of the team's features.

Nice to have:

• Performance Monitoring Tools: Experience with performance, monitoring and logging tools (K6, Prometheus, Grafana,) to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Experience with implementing and managing load testing and chaos engineering platforms.
