The Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards. This role involves managing compliance programs, conducting audits, providing expert guidance, and developing strategies to mitigate regulatory risks. The Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of compliance, oversee investigations, and ensure adherence to ethical practices.
What you’ll do:
- Localize and implement the Compliance Management Program defined by the Group Compliance, including best practices, policies, and procedures;
- Design and deliver compliance training programs to ensure that employees understand and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing education and updates to relevant stakeholders;
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure to regulatory or reputational damage.
- Lead internal compliance audits, identifying gaps or violations. Oversee investigations into compliance breaches, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities, violations, and improvements. Maintain comprehensive records of compliance documentation and audit findings for internal and external use.
- Act as a liaison between the compliance department and other business units, providing expert guidance on compliance-related issues and ensuring cross-functional collaboration.
- Stay current on changes to laws, regulations, and best practices. Advise senior management on how to adjust the organization’s compliance strategy to meet new requirements.
- Ensure third-party vendors, contractors, and partners comply with relevant regulatory and company standards by reviewing contracts and conducting due diligence assessments.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance, regulatory or any other relevant role, preferably in a multinational environment. Big4 experience will be considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Any certification in Compliance will be preferred.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Enhanced appreciation of the regulations applicable to the relevant business, particularly new and upcoming regulations.
- Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards.
- Independent, goal-oriented and systematic way of working.
- Attention to detail and ability to demonstrate an analytical mind.
- Clear and concise verbal and written skills
- Ambition to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate integrity and professional ethics.
