About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Product Manager(Technical) - Platform(all genders) for fixed term to lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our critical Authentication, Authorization, and Auditing (AAA) services. These services, encompassing Authentication, Security Token Service (STS), Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Audit Log capabilities, are foundational to Delivery Hero's security infrastructure and are used by most developers across the company.

  • Define and Champion the Vision: Lead and evangelize a compelling product vision and strategy for the services under AAA, ensuring alignment with the company's overall security and technology goals.

  • Own the Roadmap: Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that balances developer needs, security best practices, and business objectives.

  • Deeply Understand User Needs: Conduct thorough research to understand the needs of developers and other stakeholders who utilize the AAA services. Translate these needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.

  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with engineering, security, and other relevant teams to ensure the successful development, launch, and iteration of AAA services.

  • Drive Adoption: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to promote the adoption and effective use of AAA services across Delivery Hero.

  • Monitor and Analyze: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and gather feedback to continuously improve the performance and usability of AAA services.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Research and stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in the authentication, authorization, and auditing space.

Responsibilities:

  • Simplify the process of acquiring developers and services to use our tools

  • Coordinate communication, requirements, and expectations with engineering leadership from various departments and Delivery Hero companies

  • Collaborate with your team to come up with the most suitable solutions in terms of deliverability, ease of use, and adaptability through leading the development of detailed requirement that are reviewed by your stakeholders with whom you will engage in discussions to reach a consensus around the final product

  • Lead a strong relationship with compliance and data protection teams centrally and regionally

  • Lead the roadmap definition, prioritization, and communication on a quarterly basis and pitch / advocate it in front of the senior leadership

  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to lead the development process of the features and product

  • Lead the rollout of your features / products and measure their success and opportunities of improvement, and gradually become the de facto thought leader about your product

  • Be on the lookout for new technologies and authentication trends / standards


What you need to be successful

  • 4+ years of experience in developing web / backend products

  • The products are technical and the stakeholders are primarily in Engineering, so it is important to demonstrate an understanding of how backend services work and ability to carry out an architectural discussion with your engineering team

  • You have previously owned a product, roadmap and led the development of major and high value features.  Also a great story teller; the ability to simplify complex concepts and get buy in from stakeholders

  • Highly analytical, curious, and data driven. Able to define the right metrics / data to use in your decision-making process 

  • Proven ability to use both quantitative and qualitative insights to define and measure the success of your products.

  • Relevant experience in authentication is a plus but not required if you’re able to demonstrate the above mentioned skills
