We are looking for a Senior PMO & Internal Controls Consultant to join our team.
In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to both the governance of internal control frameworks and the successful planning and execution of strategic projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that internal processes are efficient, risks are managed, and key initiatives are delivered with clarity, structure, and accountability.
What you’ll do:
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of internal control systems to ensure financial integrity and compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. This includes regular review and updating of control measures to address evolving risks.
Oversee and coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic objectives. Facilitate stakeholder communication, define project scopes, and monitor progress through structured reporting and governance.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities within financial and operational processes. Ensure alignment with governance policies and regulatory requirements, suggesting improvements as needed.
Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of governance frameworks, ensuring that financial and operational activities are executed within established guidelines.
Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to facilitate audits of internal controls, governance practices, and risk management processes. Address findings and implement corrective actions promptly.
Identify and recommend process improvements and best practices in internal controls, risk management, and governance to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

What you need to be successful
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Tech or related fields
Professional certifications such as PMP, CISA, or similar are highly beneficial
Solid experience in internal controls, compliance, or audit roles within the finance / tech sector, with a demonstrated ability to manage governance and risk assessment projects
Deep understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and experience with financial regulations and standards
Proficiency in data analysis tools may be required for risk assessment and control evaluation
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
