We are seeking a data-driven and proactive Senior Demand Planner to join our Foodora Market team. As a Senior Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in achieving Waste and Availability targets by monitoring the sales forecasts, executing precise orders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Commercial and Operations. You will also get the responsibility of managing large projects on a local level!
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Continuously monitor and analyze demand forecasts from our MRP system to identify trends, patterns, and potential discrepancies.
Work closely with Commercial and Operations teams to align the successful planning and execution of campaigns and new product launches.
Ensure optimal inventory in dialogue with category managers, operations managers, and store managers
Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand forecasting accuracy, product availability, and waste, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve demand planning processes in close collaboration with other EU Foodora markets.
Project management of small and large local projects, such as implementing a new supply system
To succeed in the role of Senior Demand Planner, we envision that you have:
A master's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in retail
Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related roles is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Familiarity with demand planning software and MRP systems is a plus.
Language skills: Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
