Sales Manager - Retail Media efood market

Our efood market Commercial team is on the lookout for a new senior team member to join their quest of partnering with some of the world’s leading brands and media agencies to drive their growth and success via retail media.

What is Retail Media?

Retail media is advertising within the app or website of a retailer/marketplace. It’s most popular with the brands and vendors who sell their products via the retailer/marketplace and is a highly effective way to influence customers at the point of purchase. Retail media is one of the fastest-growing parts of our business today.

Your role as the Sales manager - Retail Media in efood market is to identify opportunities for efood market’s suppliers (CPGs) and help them grow their business by using efood market promotion tools, features, campaigns and sales data.

The role’s mission is to make efood market the no 1 online grocery media partner for CPGs. In your daily job, you will be in contact with over 150 CPGs of different scales, focusing on delivering high quality service and developing a positive relationship. You will ensure placements on the efood market app & web platform and support suppliers decision-making by analyzing and using data with the goal of meeting their business needs and maximizing ROAS.

You will work closely with the commercial management team, category managers & marketing teams and report to the Commercial Strategy Senior Manager.

What you will do:

• Design and implement a go-to-market strategy that will establish efood market as the no 1 online grocery media partner for CPGs
• Drive sales growth of advertising services by sealing partnerships with leading CPGs
• Conduct full sales cycles including lead generation, outreach, communication of value proposition, negotiation and winning through a consultative approach
• Meet ambitious sales objectives defined by the company
• Create & lead the sales strategy for data monetization from CPGs
• Develop strong relationships with advertising agencies and other stakeholders involved in CPGs retail media investment
• Research accounts, identify stakeholders/decision makers and generate interest about efood market
• Compile comprehensive reports and hold regular meetings and QBRs with CPGs
• Design & implement commercialization of seasonal & other thematic opportunities through collaboration with the company marketing and commercial teams
• Guarantee delivery of supplier activations to the customer and optimize both the suppliers’ and customers’ experience of the efood market brand
• Raise the profile of efood market’s Retail Media offering by speaking at industry events
• Research & follow latest trends on retail media features both within the Delivery Hero Group and across markets / e-commerce platforms & liaise with local & central product teams for for new feature ideation & development

• At least 5 years of experience in digital advertising sales, within Retail/E-Commerce or FMCG (programmatic experience is a plus)
• Hands-on sales leader with a master-level knowledge of selling techniques, strategic and consultative approach with a proven track record of driving new business revenue and building long-term partnerships
• A strong focus on developing a client base within the Greek market and have strong industry knowledge and relationships
• Being a strategic thinker & being able to take ownership of your projects, can quickly synthesize multiple inputs, and can balance resources across multiple projects and initiatives
• Solid reporting skills & data
