Regional Pricing Manager

The Pricing Manager is focused on driving sustainable growth from consumers through various pricing solutions including delivery fees and platform fees. The Pricing Manager is directly responsible for developing and executing foodpanda’s pricing strategy, working closely with the Regional Pricing Strategy team to collectively drive business results through consultation and continuous experimentation. 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive pricing strategy coupled with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute the tactics. Success in this position requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills; a passion for generating data-based insights and a willingness to experiment; the ability to thrive in a fast paced, team-focused environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Become an expert in foodpanda’s pricing solutions with a strong understanding of the impact of various pricing levers on consumer demand
• Drive continuous experimentation across foodpanda’s business in TH and MY, with the aim of growing and optimizing pricing revenue
• Apply quantitative skills to analyze data and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence pricing strategy for foodpanda
• Build strong relationships with and effectively communicate our pricing strategy to stakeholders across various local and regional teams

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or any other similar quantitative field
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in tech, consulting, or a management associate programme from a leading MNC
• You have experience using SQL 
• You have worked and partnered with stakeholders across organizations 
• Advantageous to have experience with scripting language such as Python, R 
• You have an understanding of the startup environment, internet trends, on-demand economy
