Role Summary
We are hiring a Product Operations Manager to lead and grow our Product Ops function. This role is central to how our product organization operates and scales. You will provide leadership to the Product Ops team, embed operational excellence across our core processes, and drive transformation at the organizational level.
Reporting to the Director of Product Operations, you will manage and develop a team of Product Ops ICs, while partnering closely with senior leaders in Product, Engineering and Design. Your work will shape not only how we deliver products, but also how we align, learn and grow as an organization.
What’s On Your Plate?
Management & Leadership
• Lead and manage the Product Ops team, providing direction, coaching and career growth opportunities
• Set the vision and strategy for how Product Ops supports the wider organization
• Partner with senior leaders in Product and Technology to align priorities and ensure Product Ops is delivering against company goals
• Establish clear engagement models and responsibilities as the Product Ops team scales
Operational Excellence
• Own the full operational scope of Product and Technology, ensuring smooth execution of product rollouts, cross team alignment, and continuous optimisation of key product features
• Provide clarity and structure for the daily work of Product Ops ICs, who run rollouts, drive syncs, manage alignment sessions and solve operational blockers across squads
• Continuously improve these core practices, building playbooks, refining processes and introducing tools that make the day to day work of Product Ops more effective and scalable
• Leverage automation and build at scale to reduce manual overhead & increase efficiency
Strategic Enablement
• Lead initiatives that improve how the product organization operates, from decision making structures to operating model design
• Ensure product strategy translates into clear and coordinated execution across squads and tribes
• Contribute to building a culture of transparency, learning and operational discipline
• Define and track key performance indicators that measure the impact of the org, including speed of delivery, quality of releases and alignment across teams
• Drive consistency and best practice in tools such as Jira, Confluence and other collaboration platforms to support visibility and accountability of the Product & Tech org at scale
What Did We Order?
- Managerial experience is a must. Experience in scaling up teams a bonus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, transformations, business operations, consulting, product, product operations or similar role. Experience in Product & Tech orgs is a bonus.
- Experience in leading cross functional projects and teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable at dealing with ambiguity.
- Strong team player, with an ability to connect people and teams to our company vision.
- Drive key processes to enhance daily business and have an ability to prioritise demands in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mentality and a desire to make an impact.
- Strong English skills, in both written and verbal communication.
- You have a voice that is human, personal and matches our Product brand.
- Ability to think like a Product user and be invested in our users’ needs.
