About the opportunity

We are on the lookout for a Nordics Public Relations Lead to join the Communication and Public Affairs team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. This high-impact role is crucial for shaping and protecting our brand reputation across Sweden, Norway, and Finland. You will be the primary communications expert for the cluster, working across local teams, management, and external agencies to ensure consistent and positive media engagement and effective issues management. The role is based in Stockholm, with occasional travel to the other countries you will manage.

  • Lead the planning and execution of operational PR campaigns for Sweden, Norway, and Finland, aligned with regional and local priorities.

  • Work closely with the regional team to align strategy and messaging.

  • Act as the key issues and crisis management support, monitoring reputational risks and preparing proactive mitigation plans and statements.

  • Manage media relations, proactively pitching stories and maintaining strong journalist relationships across all three markets.

  • Coordinate and manage local PR agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables and alignment with mandates.

  • Prepare spokespeople for interviews, speeches, and panels by drafting comprehensive briefing materials and thought leadership content.

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment on external communications with Legal, Public Affairs, Marketing, and other key departments.


What you need to be successful

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in both PR agency and in-house roles.

  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in at least one local language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish). Swedish or Norwegian are highly preferred. 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital platforms, the delivery industry, and its challenges is a plus.

  • Experience working internationally and across multiple countries is highly preferable.

  • Experience operating in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment is desirable.

  • Familiarity with systems like Slack, GSuite, and modern AI/LLM tools (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM).

  • Deep understanding of Nordic media landscape which includes key newsmedia, trade media, network with journalists etc

  • Experience working with issues such as environmental sustainability, labor and Union relations, tech and innovation is highly valuable.

  • A structured and solution-oriented approach to campaign and crisis management as well as excellent prioritization ability and a business-minded approach to public relations.
