About the opportunity
Operational Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards, implement efficient processes, and monitor productivity and quality.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and develop inventory control policies.
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, foster a positive work environment, and provide guidance to achieve operational goals.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and carriers, ensure timely delivery of goods, and manage logistics for efficiency.
Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, generate performance reports, identify areas for improvement, and stay updated on industry trends.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution center budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven 6-10 yrs experience in warehouse management, logistics, or distribution center operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
