About the opportunity

The Manager of Corporate Security Operations will be responsible for overseeing the company's
security operations and ensuring the protection of assets, employees, and operations. The role
involves managing security-related incidents, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining
relationships with external security providers and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with
local regulations and standards. The manager will support and lead projects that focus on
identifying key enterprise and operational security risks. Additionally, they will contribute to
governance projects aimed at assessing and enhancing the current security control environment.
This role also includes leading and supporting various ad-hoc assignments across different functions
to continuously elevate the security posture of the organization.

Role duties and responsibilities

  •  Manage and resolve operational security-related cases involving delivery riders in Jordan, including coordination with local police forces and relevant authorities as needed.
  •  Identify and assess security risks across operations, assisting in the development and execution of mitigation plans and preventive measures.
  • Oversee day-to-day field security operations, ensuring that security teams and vendors across all sites adhere to company standards and protect personnel, assets, and delivery riders.
  • Lead the initial response to physical security incidents, such as theft, disputes, or property damage, ensuring timely coordination with law enforcement and internal teams.
  •  Implement and enforce on-ground security protocols and emergency response procedures, adapting them to suit the local operational environment.
  • Maintain positive and effective relationships with local authorities, municipalities, and community
  • leaders to support smooth security operations and proactive issue resolution.
  • Monitor changes in local laws and regulatory requirements related to operational security, and share updates with senior management.
  • Support business operations teams in ensuring ongoing compliance with local rules, regulations, and government mandates.
  •  Prepare incident reports, risk summaries, and updates for internal stakeholders, contributing to operational insights and decision-making.
  •  Engage with city supervisors and local site managers to address rider-related challenges, providin guidance and support in dispute resolution.
  •  Participate in internal coordination meetings and contribute to the implementation of departmental goals and initiatives at the country level.
  •  Promote security and risk awareness among operational teams and contribute recommendations for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  •  Monitor execution of security-related initiatives in line with the vision and directives of the department head, reporting on local progress.
  •  Assist in resolving official inquiries or infractions issued by Jordanian regulatory bodies (e.g., traffic or municipal violations) through appropriate channels.
  •  Support the department in responding to information requests from government agencies regarding 3PL drivers or customer-related matters.
  •  Facilitate the handling of consumer complaints raised through regulatory bodies, ensuring professional resolution in collaboration with relevant teams.
  •  Manage the security control room operations, ensuring effective monitoring systems, incident logging, and rapid response mechanisms are in place and functioning around the clock.
  •  Supervise and coordinate third-party (3PL) security companies, overseeing their shift schedules, team performance, and their active monitoring duties within the control room environment.


Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in police or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in police departments.
  • Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations related to delivery companies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
