Job description
We are looking for a highly driven and analytical Lead, Pantry to lead and scale the Pantry business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers, driving sustainable GMV growth,
ensuring profitability, and maintaining operational excellence across the business.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Commercial Ownership
- Own the Pantry business performance, ensuring consistent month-on-month GMV growth while maintaining strong unit economics.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify growth opportunities across existing accounts and new partnerships to expand the Pantry business.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Set clear KPIs and performance targets for the team and track progress against them.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture aligned with company values.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Operations, Finance and Marketing to drive business success.
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure long-term collaboration.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure smooth execution of Pantry operations, including order fulfilment, vendor coordination, and service quality.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and operational KPIs are consistently met.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyze key business metrics including GMV, profitability, order volumes, and operational KPIs.
- Prepare structured business reviews and reports for senior management with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Leverage data to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Commercial Operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
