Lead, Finance Controlling & Insight

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance reporting.
• Provide insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and key business drivers.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
• Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance on various projects and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function.
• Be hands-on with FP&A and controlling responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on FP&A and controlling.
• Proven experience in the retail, FMCG, or tech industry is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences.  
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, ERP systems).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  
• A passion for the food and grocery delivery industry and a strong work ethic.
