You’ll work hand-in-hand with our local Finance team, our awesome SSC colleagues in the Philippines, and our Regional and Central Finance teams based in Germany.
Your mission
You will be part of a small but critical local Finance team, currently consisting of 5 Finance professionals and is led by the Finance Director, you will be reporting to the local Head of Accounting. While most transactional accounting is managed by our Financial Shared Service Center – FSSC. The scope of the position includes some selected accounting tasks required for local compliance, but the main focus will be on profit and loss and balance sheet control, month-end closing processes, and financial coordination between internal and external stakeholders. You will also act as a backup to the Head of Accounting, contributing to both day-to-day tasks and ad hoc topics when needed.
Perform regular profit and loss and balance sheet reviews, including reconciliations, variance analyses, and analysing closing journal entries.
Be a key player in both audit and financial statement processes, being able to independently take on the responsibility of the local financial statement process for some of our entities according to FAS.

Proactively identify the effects of process or structural changes on financial operations and take initiative to adapt, resolve, or escalate issues.
Serve as a backup to the HoA, participating in ad hoc projects, internal controls, and higher-level reviews when required.
