About the opportunity

Are you an aspiring leader with a strong passion for logistics? We're seeking a Junior Area Manager for our logistics department in Stockholm. In this role, you will play a vital part in our rider operations, ensuring the success and high standards of our rider fleet in foodora's last-mile delivery. Your mission

  • Manage rider-related processes that are executed in Stockholm.

  • Focus on operational excellence, including compliance and performance follow-ups, and oversee our green fleet (e-vehicles).

  • Assist in managing the work environment and create an engaging working atmosphere.

  • Monitor city performance and ensure that the team leaders execute on both short-term daily tasks and long-term initiatives.

  • Make sure that we follow policies, guidelines & law in terms of rider operation in your region.

We are looking for a true foodorian who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and dares to go further. To thrive in this role we believe that you are self- propelled and enjoy taking your own decisions and initiatives. If you have you are also structured, you will come far in our fast paced environment! Since you will be in contact with many of our riders, your communication and leadership skills will come well in hand.

What you need to be successful

  • University degree within a relevant area

  • Previous experience in leading or coaching a team will be considered a plus.

  • You communicate fluently verbally and in writing in English and Swedish. 

  • Previous experience from analytical work with Excel.
